Harrison Park muster point is being organised by the Edinburgh Union Canal Society. Facilities included at Harrison Park will be announced shortly It is envisaged that the congregated flotilla will depart Harrison Park at about 1:45PM en-route to the next muster point at Bridge 8 Hub, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, pausing on the Prince Charlie Aqueduct to capture some drone footage of the flotilla
World Premier to be performed at Harrison Park Muster Point.
Details are being finalised for the World Premier Performance of a specially commissioned piece of music entitled "Union Caledonian 200" to be played on four string instruments which have been manufactured from timber recovered from a storm felled tree in Harrison Park, Edinburgh.
Composed by Viktor Seifert, the very talented 14 year old multi award winning young composer / musician, the piece will be played on the Thomas Telford String Quartet instruments before the quartet head off on the flotilla, entertaining those on the tow path en-route to the next muster point at Bridge 8 Hub.
